The Marathon Runners

Not all heroes wear capes. They also wear running shoes.
On July 30th, a marathon was conducted by NEB sports at GKVK grounds for cancer awarness.

Among the many participants were. Dr Vinu Sarathy, Consultant Medical Oncologist and Dr. Jibin Joshua, Medical Officer in Oncology from the Bangalore Baptist Hospital. Their mission was to raise awareness for the very patients who visit them for Cancer treatment.

While the sun radiated itself blocking any signs of rain, these two doctors ran the marathon radiating hope and empathy for the very people who come to them for medical help.

While Dr. Sarathy ran in the 50 KM category, Dr Joshua participated in the 25 KM category.
